This forum uses HTML Frames to allow independant refreshing of the recording list and the player applets.

The max recording time in this example is 20 seconds but you can set the max time in your application to be whatever you desire, within the limits of memory.
The messages are compressed using Speex voice compression algorithm. Speex is designed to work great for speech but does not work well for music. To compress music messages we would suggest using ADPCM.
