You should see a message about the Java version number and hear a rising tone. If it worked, click here.
If you see any other error message then please copy and paste the text into an email and send it to us from here.
If you get the message "Play sine wave at 44100.0 Hz for 4 seconds. Test complete." but do not hear sound, then please check your audio hardware and audio control panel to make sure that your computer is outputting sound properly.
